How our sterilizers are built
The same standards run through every model, from a 12-litre portable autoclave to an 810-litre Class B sterilizer.
- Materials
- SS 304, 304L, 316 and 316L stainless steel, with material thickness up to 12 mm to customer specification.
- Welding and finish
- Argon-arc welded chambers, seamless construction on portable autoclaves and mirror-polished 316L chambers on Class B models.
- Testing
- Class B chambers hydraulically tested to 2.5× working pressure and jackets to 1.5×; vertical and horizontal units tested to 40 psi.
- Controls
- From manual valves to microcontroller, PLC and touch-screen automation with thermal printers and SCADA-ready logging.
- Safety
- Safety valves, automatic vacuum breakers, low-water cut-offs and doors that lock while the chamber is under pressure.
- Customisation
- Custom chamber sizes, single or double doors, and optional digital timers, controllers and alarms.
